Cal Arts Character Animators TERRORIZED!!

I thought it would be pretty cool to walk around in the cubes with a labtop that has a eerie comic from a website. The cam on the screen was recording while they are focusing really hard on the weird scary comic thingy.

Guilty Heart Soldiers On Trailer

guilty heart soldiers on Trailer

Film we made in the 12th grade that required lot's of preparations and work. This is just a trailer of it, but the full movie will be up soon.

Now or Never Promo

NOW OR NEVER PROMO 2010-2011

This is a trailer I made for several traveling documentary series with my friend. These are some great memories shared with my friend Nathan. It would be awesome to document more travels together in the places like Iceland, Peru, and, Zambia!

TASK FORCE TRILOGY

(Ridicules English Assignment)

TASK FORCE
PART I

Our English 11 project about torrenting, except its not that relevant to the actual assignment. Nevertheless we still got 100% MUHAHA!!! Time was really tight during the shooting. It must have been less than couple hours because by  midnight we were planning to go to the opening night of "Avatar".

TASK FORCE
   PART II

This film was shot within  a day among with the "Depression" trailer. We were all little overwhelmed with too much filming. During the post production, this film lacked coverage. It was a real challenge during the editing. There are shots where the video is flipped, reversed, dubbed over the shot etc.

TASK FORCE
PART III

Doctors often say if a leg costs 200$, an eye would cost $1000. All I can
say is, this is where it all ends.

Green Screening, and film the car chase was extremely fun. Except we had very limited time during
the car chase and every shot it got darker and darker.

"The Depression" Trailer Social Homework

This is nothing more than a project we had to do for social homework on Canadian History.
It was lot's of fun and interesting to film something thats based on a true story during the Great Depression.
                                                               Some Raw Footage

Watch how everything comes together at the end, but until that everything looks pretty sketchy.

"Sentient Eggs in a Refriderator Unit'' Zoomfest 2009

This was a submission for British Columbia Student Zoomfest film contest 2009. On a Friday night you get a theme and a prop to base your film around it, and create it within 48 hours. Film is submitted by Sunday evening. Prop was egg, and theme was "nothing ever lasts."

                                          BEHIND THE SCENE

Compared to Zoomfest 2008, this year's filming was much more efficient and more organized. Also not requiring people acting saved time from not having to rehearse or memorize the script. We all got sufficient amount of sleep within the 48 hours and other than the concern for the power outage due to severe wind, everything went very smoothly.
During the editing progress, I used the software I was familiar with, I didn't use Final cut because the rendering would take up lots of time and I was still learning the basics.
And there you have it! (Terrible and shaky picture of us, unfortunately the only one in record.)
Overall winner, 1st place in editing, 2nd place in technical award of 2009!
Cool experience and awesome memories of our grade 11.
